About the Class: Kara’s Kitchen intro cooking class covers a variety of basic, easy-to-master techniques. Chef Kara will demonstrate essential knife skills, and you’ll get plenty of hands-on practice as we prep fresh ingredients. We’ll walk you step by step through the fundamentals of making mire poix, vegetable stock, cooking grains, and perfectly searing chicken. You’ll discover how simple it can be to make vinaigrette from scratch and put your own spin on salad using any greens and grains.
What to Expect: Great cooking isn’t about recipes—it’s about techniques and good ingredients. In our classes you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructor.
